A Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, April 12th in Emery, South Dakota. If the polls cannot be opened because of bad weather, the election may be postponed one week.

     The election polls will be open from seven a.m. to seven p.m. central time on the day of the election.

     At the election, the following office will be filled:

    WARD 2 ALDERMAN (2 YEAR TERM) — Brad Bartscher or Griffith VanLeur

      FURTHERMORE, THE FOLLOWING ARE  UNOPPOSED:
                               
      MAYOR (2 YEAR TERM) — Andy Erickson
      WARD 1 ALDERMAN (2 YEAR TERM) — Paul Nelson
      WARD 2 ALDERMAN (1 YEAR TERM) — Ryan Storm

     The polling place in each precinct of this municipality is as follows: EMERY FIRE HALL, 130 S. 4th Street, Emery, SD.

     Any voter who needs assistance, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may contact the municipal finance officer at 605-449-4455 before the election for information on polling place accessibility for people with disabilities.
