Graduates earn 38 degrees from Sioux Falls Seminary

About 81.6 percent of the 38 degrees and certificates handed out by Sioux Falls Seminary in 2017-18 were to students in theology and religious vocations programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Falls conferred 28 master's degrees and 3 doctor's degrees in theology and religious vocations programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in divinity/ministry. Data shows the school gave out 21 master's degrees in divinity/ministry, followed by 7 master's degrees in marriage and family therapy/counseling and 6 master's degrees in lay ministry.

The seminary enrolled 306 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in 306 programs.
