The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate John R. Thune, Friends of John Thune, refunded $1,000 to James L. Jurries on Feb. 11, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Friends of John Thune has refunded $3,050 total since Sept. 1, 2020.
