The City of Hartford provides a free service for disposal of yard clippings, leaves, and tree branches. Dumpster containers are located on Railroad Street south of the High School. This program will be offered the first Saturday in April through the Saturday after Thanksgiving, weather permitting.
Site Hours:
Saturdays 9am-4pm
Tuesdays & Thursdays 4-8pm until Sept 15th when the site will then close at dusk
Reminder:
Only yard clippings and leaves are allowed in the dumpsters; garbage is prohibited. A small garbage can is available for plastic bags. Tree branches may be unloaded by the dumpsters
Please remember this is a free service for Hartford City residents only – you must live within Hartford City Limits. Commercial dumping is prohibited. The site is monitored.
