WELCOME TO THE FIFTH ANNUAL HARTFORD AREA BURGER BATTLE CHALLENGE!
Hartford area restaurants Main Street Humboldt Bar, Big J's Roadhouse, The GOAT, Dugout Sports Bar & Grill, Buffalo Ridge Brewing and the Hartford Steak Co. Tavern are facing off all January! They are going head to head to prove to you that they have the best burger in 2023! BUT WAIT, it gets even better! YOU get to be the judge.
Here’s how it works:
• Visit the participating restaurants and try their special burger.
• Download the chamber's app - Discover Hartford - this is where you will submit your votes.
• Post a picture of your burger on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram and tag #HartfordBurgerBattle2023 to enter into the weekly drawing for $25 Hartford Bucks!
• At the end of January, the burger with the highest average score wins claim to the “Best Burger in the Hartford Area”

Cyclone
This burger comes with a knife on the side for a reason! We started with a pretzel bun and add a 1/2 lb burger topped with six oz. of brisket and bacon crumbles. Next, we top it with beer cheese, chopped lettuce, diced onion and tomato, swiss cheese, and Colby jack; this all gets drizzled with our special BBQ ranch sauce.

BRB Brisket Beer Chili Burger
A juicy 1/3 lb burger, a fried cheddar crisp topped with smoked brisket beer chili (cooked with Oaksville Amber Ale) and garnished with smoked corn pico, green chili crema, green onions, pickled jalapenos and crunchy fritos. Comes with a side of potato chips.

Fantastic Fusion Burger
Cheers to the New Year! The Hartford Steak House is headed into 2023 presenting the Fantastic Fusion Burger. This is our in-house fresh ground steak patty, topped with a warm flavorful creamy spinach-artichoke sauce - served on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato & onion. Served with chips and dip! Time to get your grub on!

Fiesta Burger
We have combined two American favorites into one amazing entrée for the 2023 Burger Battle Challenge. Our Taco Burger is a delicious, juicy hamburger infused with taco seasoning. It’s topped off with a generous helping of shredded cheddar cheese, a dollop of salsa, then lettuce, tomato, onion and served with a side of sour cream. A toothpick holds a crown of 3 jalapeño slices to the top of the fresh white bread bun creating the perfect blend of American Burger with Mexican kick! Olé!

Fireworks of flavor will go off in your mouth when you bite into this burger! We started with a 1/2 lb. patty topped with bacon, then added queso, jalapeno cheese curds, and mango habanero sauce. BOOM!
The Dugout Bar & Grill
Upper Deck Smash
This burger will have you swinging for a home run. First, we start with two all-beef patties. Then we top it with cheese, pickles and secret sauce. We'll add condiments at your request, but this burger will be in the hall of fame for a reason.
