On Monday, March 24, former Flandreau High School - 01 standout Claire Sheppard’s current collegiate team the South Dakota State Jackrabbits lost 91-57 against the UConn Huskies in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Harry A. Gampel Pavilion, this was the first game against the UConn Huskies during the championship.

Claire Sheppard’s hometown is Egan and game positions are small forward and shooting guard.
