On Monday, Feb. 24, former Roosevelt High School standout Heidi Vortherms’ current college team, the West Texas A&M Buffaloes, won 9-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Oklahoma Christian Lady Eagles.

The game took place at Tom Heath Field at Lawson Plaza. This was their second matchup against the Lady Eagles this season.

The Buffaloes’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. at Schaeffer Park against UT Tyler Patriots.
