Roosevelt High School standout Heidi Vortherms’ collegiate team wins game in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship on Saturday, May 10

On Saturday, May 10, former Roosevelt High School standout Heidi Vortherms’ current collegiate team the West Texas A&M Buffaloes won 3-0 against the Angelo State Rams in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Schaeffer Park at 5 p.m. and was the third matchup against the Angelo State Rams in the tournament.

The West Texas A&M Buffaloes’ next game will take place on Thursday, May 15 at 4 p.m. at Irwin Field.
