On Friday, March 7, former Roosevelt High School standout Heidi Vortherms’ current college team, the West Texas A&M Buffaloes, won 13-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas.

The game took place at Vernie & Blanche Hubert Field. This was their first matchup against the Javelinas this season.

The Buffaloes’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at Vernie & Blanche Hubert Field against Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas.
