Heidi Vortherms, former Roosevelt High School standout, played on Friday, April 18 in NCAA Division II softball game

On Friday, April 18, former Roosevelt High School standout Heidi Vortherms’ current college team, the West Texas A&M Buffaloes, won 5-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Sul Ross Lobos.

The game took place at Schaeffer Park. This was their fourth matchup against the Lobos this season.

The Buffaloes’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 2 p.m. at Maner Park against Lubbock Christian Lady Chaparrals.
