On Sunday, April 13, former Roosevelt High School standout Heidi Vortherms’ college team won in an NCAA Division II softball game

On Sunday, April 13, former Roosevelt High School standout Heidi Vortherms’ current college team, the West Texas A&M Buffaloes, won 12-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds.

The game took place at Schaeffer Park. This was their fourth matchup against the Greyhounds this season.

The Buffaloes’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 at 5 p.m. at Schaeffer Park against Texas–Permian Basin Falcons.
