The City of Canton is issuing a Snow Alert effective at Midnight tonight.

Vehicles on Emergency Snow Routes should be removed IMMEDIATELY!

NO PARKING is permitted on any City streets during Snow Alerts; vehicles will be ticketed and towed at any time during a Snow Alert.

The Snow Alert will remain in effect until all streets are plowed from curb to curb. City crews will work to keep emergency routes open throughout the duration of the storm. Once snow stops and winds subside, curb to curb plowing will begin.

The City parking lots located behind The Wheel and at the Depot and Library are available for parking during the snow alert.
