Rita Anderson, longtime Director for the De Smet Development Corporation, has decided to semi-retire, the De Smet Development Corporation is excited to have Jamie Lancaster and his family move to town and take over her role.
Jamie and his wife have four daughters and moved here from Arizona. They have lived in Omaha and the Midwest previously and after visiting De Smet and were anxious to move here to raise their family and enjoy our Midwest quality of life. Jamie and his family are going to be a wonderful addition to the Development Corporation and our community.
Don’t worry, Rita won’t be leaving for good. She will continue working as they transition to Jamie and will remain on the various boards and committees that she serves on. “We have many projects happening in De Smet that are exciting and great for the area that I am passionate about, so I will continue to be involved,” said Rita.
EVERYONE IS INVITED to attend the party in her honor on September 24 at the Event Center! Help us ‘Spread the Word’ and bring your friends and family with you for a fun evening!
Social hour is at 6:30pm
Recognition is at 7:00pm
Music, Fun and Dancing is from 8:00-Midnight!
Snacks will be served! Let's party and celebrate and thank Rita for her many years of awesome service to De Smet and to the state of South Dakota!
