The City of Harrisburg is under a Snow Alert effective 8:00pm tonight, Friday, January 27th, until 8:00pm, Saturday, January 28th. Total snow accumulation of up to 6” is possible. There will be periods with wind gusts above 30 mph. Roads in and around Harrisburg may be very difficult to travel.
NO PARKING is permitted on any City street during Snow Alerts. Vehicles may be ticketed or towed at any time during a Snow Alert.
The City will work to keep the Emergency Snow Routes open through the duration of the snow event and will plow every street curb-to-curb once the snow and wind subside.
