Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson (R-S.D.) has been recognized as the most effective House member on Native American issues during the 118th Congress by the Center for Effective Lawmaking. Additionally, he has been ranked as the third most effective on transportation issues.
“South Dakota knows the importance of transportation and Native policies,” stated Johnson, expressing his satisfaction with the rankings he has received. He added, “I’m proud to receive these rankings and deliver real results for my constituents. The 119th Congress is off to a strong start, and I’m determined to keep up the good work.”
This is not the first time Johnson has been acknowledged by the Center for Effective Lawmaking. He was also one of the top-ranked in both the 117th Congress and the 116th Congress.
